The Doubles are a great way to get a single adult and a younger child on the water.
The doubles can be paddled by just the adult if the child wants to have a rest!

Being Sit on top – they are safe – even if they were to capsize! If you follow our instructions, then you should stay on the boat not in the water!
Our kayaks have a section where your kit can be stowed on the boat – and we can provide a dry bag for keys/wallet/phones etc.
Paddlers will end up getting a wet bum and arms, so please dress appropriately!
We meet between 10am and 12.30 and hirers need to be back at our base by 5.30pm.
We normally advise customers to paddle upstream towards Hurley lock, which is very achievable. Paddlers can exit on to the grass at the lock, have a picnic, or leave the boats and walk in to Hurley village to get an ice-cream or have a pub lunch (see route below for more details). For those wanting a longer challenge, head further upstream in to the Hambleden stretch before returning.
Sorry – We do not take pets in any of our boats.
We will carryout a quick safety briefing and instructions for all participants.
Every participant gets a 50N buoyancy aid.
Smaller children will get 100N life jackets depending on their ability to swim.
Customers can book a mixture of boats in our booking system.
