You’ll experience the beautiful and peaceful Hurley/Medmenham Reach. 

Great for our adult customers with children (6yrs+) , and people who want to experience kayaking and just go with the flow. 

You can mix with SUPs and Canoes in our booking system

You will launch and exit from our Base at Bisham Abbey, Marlow. 
Take advantage of our On-Site FREE parking,

We normally suggest that you head upstream through Temple lock and Hurley lock, and paddle up through the islands towards Hambleden. 

There are pubs and an ice cream place along the way at Hurley and it’s just a short walk to the world famous Flower Pot Pub at Aston from their jetty.

Want to use our Paddle Boards at a location of your choice? River/Lake/Sea – no problems.

You can collect from us at Shiplake RG9 4EH or at our base SL7 1RR  and return.

Our inflatable paddleboards fold down in to a bag and will easily go in the boot or back seat of a car. 

 

We recommend you wear a buoyancy aid at all times and we have the option for you to rent from us at the time of booking.

Our boards are lightweight and sturdy and great for both beginners and experienced.

We currently rent Gladiator or Jobe 10’6 All round sups (If you want something more specialist, please call us)

Use our Free Onsite Parking (normally changing facilities available too).

New to Paddle Boarding, no problem – come and have a go.

If you are new to SUP’s you will likely fall in so come prepared. 

ONLY for people 12 yrs + (accompianied on the water by an adult 25yrs+)

You’ll get the hang of things quickly and can then paddle up through the quiet Hurley reach. 

Our boards are sturdy and lightweight and easy to carry to the other side of the locks. 

Strap a waterproof bag (we can provide) and take some supplies and head off for the day.

A Proper 2 Day Paddle with camping Options

DETAILS:
This route is 31.2 miles – designed for people who want to cover some serious miles over 2 days. An early start is essential. 

Ideally suited for adults and teenagers looking to burn off some calories!

We’ll launch at Ferry Lane Cholsey. Customers can leave a car here or in Cholsey.  

There is an option for basic camping at Mapledurham, but this must be booked in advance, or at hotels & B&B’s in Pangbourne. 

 

  


The route ends at our base in Marlow. 

There is the option to paddle St Patrick’s Stream as a reward fro you paddling which will carry you down with the flow at the end of the trip. 

We estimate a total paddling time of between 12 to 14 hours.

If you have bitten off more than you hoped, there is an option to stop at Shiplake Lock.

A 2 Day Trip

This route is 23 miles – over 2 days.

Ideally suited for adults and children over about 12 years .

We’ll launch at Pangbourne. Customers can leave a car here in the paid for parking or find residential parking and walk about 5 minutes.  

Unless paddles want to press on to Henley, there are no public campsites midway, although there are B& B options in Sonning – or you risk wild camping! 


The route ends at our base at Bisham, Marlow and you can leave your car here. 

There is the option to paddle St Patrick’s Stream as a fun option and the Hennerton Backwater.  

We estimate a total paddling time of between 9-11 hours in total.
